DSWAA adopts UK standards

06/02/2019 by murally

We are pleased to announce that DSWAA at its February committee meeting, adopted the UK standards for training, qualifications and accreditation in dry stone walling and assumed the role of peak body for wallers and the sector. See here for DSWA (UK) information on their system.

This follows a report and recommendations by the DSWAA committee on training and accreditation which includes members with long-standing professional experience. Work will now start on detailed planning.

We are confident that this move will go a long way to ensuring that high standards are met in the practice of dry stone walling and the training of new professionals.
